Wraparound Childcare & Activities

Wraparound Care for Pupils at Aiskew, Leeming Bar CE and Leeming and Londonderry Community Primary Schools

We’re delighted to announce that both schools will have access to a comprehensive wraparound childcare facility, which will provide childcare for your children from 7.30am until 5.30pm, every school day. We hope that this will make it much easier for working parents, or those who just need a bit of extra time to manage their busy lives.

The clubs will be staffed by Mrs Degnan, Mrs Wolfe-Pepper and Mr Harper who are all teaching assistants at our two schools and know the children well. Every day, there will be at least one after-school club running between 3.30pm and 4.30pm. Children can choose to attend just the club and be picked up at this time or stay later up to 5.30pm and pay for the full after school session.

Everything will be run from Aiskew, Leeming Bar CE Primary School due to the availability of the outdoor facilities. Children who attend from Leeming and Londonderry Community Primary School, will be transported the short distance at 8.45am in the morning so they are ready for the start of the school day. At the end of the school day, children will be transported to Aiskew, Leeming Bar and will be collected from there.
