On Shrove Tuesday, the children found out about how people celebrate in different ways. Tin small groups, they all took turns to read the recipe as well as measure the ingredients and whisk the pancake mixture before Mrs Degnan cooked them outside. Everyone chose their own filling before sitting on the grass and enjoying their pancake.
