We were very excited when we were visited by two little piglets from The Webster’s farm.

Mum, dad and sister came to visit too and were able to share lots of information about the piglets and how to look after them.  We were amazed at how much mathematical skill it takes to look after the farm and even tried to help out Mr & Mrs Webster with some of the calculations needed.  It was very tricky but and excellent example of maths in the real world!

Mr Webster was also impressed with everyone’s impeccable behaviour as the piglets even settled down to sleep!  Everyone managed to stay quiet so as not to scare them.

As a result of the visit, KS1 were able to complete out Fact Files on pigs as part of their English learning.

Thank you and please call again!
