We have just started our Geography unit of work through which we are learning about the Amazon Rainforest. In English, we are using the Great Kapok Tree as our class read. Our challenge was to write a script for a documentary about the rainforest in the style of David Attenborough. This is what Amelia wrote after watching some of Planet Earth:
We then wrote a poem about the rainforest with our learning partners after being inspired by listening to some documentaries.
