Bears and Eagles had fun at Catterick Garrison this week, where they attended a gathering of Forces Children in North Yorkshire to celebrate Armed Forces Day with lots of exciting events that recognise the contribution of service men and women, past and present, within their communities.
There were lots of highlights for our children, but in particular they loved the marching band, leading each other through the obstacle course wearing blindfolds, and being interviewed for BFBS (Forces Radio). The school also appeared on the evening bulletin of Look North the following day!
