A whole school Art Day to produce outdoor art for the Quiet Area was greatly enjoyed by our school community this week. We hope to have some, if not all, of the work brightening up our outdoor garden in the next few weeks. A huge thank you to our parents, governors and friends of the school who gave up their time to come in and help us – we valued your support greatly.

“I liked using lots of colour with the weaving with Mrs Perkins. It was very calm.” Emily
“I liked painting with Mrs Eldridge – I liked working with the big children, because they could help me.” Finlay
“Everyone had something to do all the time, and it was fun.” Danyl
“The activity with pressing the tin was really satisfying – we were working in relief and it looked really cool.” Caden
“Painting the stones with Mrs Millgate was peaceful and creative, and I did a butterfly.” Georgina
