Children really got into role today as we did a conscience alley activity. In our book, Rooftoppers, Charles is wanting to go on the run to France, taking Sophie with him. This means he risks imprisonment if caught. We offered our advice: should he escape to France or not?
We then interviewed different characters in the story to find out if they had seen Charles and Sophie escaping in preparation for writing our newspaper reports this week.
Children decided that as well as writing a newspaper report, they wanted to do a news bulletin using iMovie. They even suggested doing this in Golden Time in order to fit everything in – engaged learners!
