Eagles at the River Swale

As part of our geography studies, Eagles spent a (very cold) day by the river Swale at Reeth.  During the day, the children had the opportunity to use their scientific knowledge to measure the river flow, and devise a fair and accurate test for this, as well as use their ICT skills to create a Pic-collage of the river, and their Geographic knowledge to identify the different features we have been learning about in the classroom, from meanders and ox-bow lakes, to signs of erosion, transportation and deposition.
