These children thoroughly enjoyed visiting Leeming Bar Grange care home today as their Golden Time treat. Today’s activity was aqua painting. Mrs Watson took the children and said that she was so proud of everyone who attended. Well done children – we know the elderly really look forward to you visiting each Friday.

I agree! I’m so impressed these children value the contribution they can make to our wider community and the joy that they can bring to the elderly – especially when they are choosing to use the Golden Time they’ve earned to benefit others. It’s lovely the care home has treated them to cake too!
